What to expect when you visit us:

A warm greeting: we want to know you, your goals, your obstacles, your question, your dog’s name, etc.

Running footwear, even if you don’t run: It’s okay if you need shoes for work, exercise, or life. We will educate you and steer you in the right direction… for YOU!

Honest pricing, available discounts: Our brands set the prices for us. We offer a great loyalty program as well as discounts for military, first responders, frontline healthcare workers, student runners, and many local affiliates. If you see it here, we hope you will buy it here… that is what keeps us here!

Quality brands: Hoka, Brooks, On, Saucony, Asics, Oofos, Nike, New Balance, Feetures, Balega… we have your big names and also love to introduce you to elite ones you may not have encountered before, such as Diadora, Mizuno, and Altra. Outside of footwear, we proudly offer brands such as Chickn Legs, Goodr, Nathan, Sprints, Garmin, Shokz, and more!

Expert Fitting

There is no perfect shoe except the one that is best for YOU. Most of the time, there is more than one. It can get confusing, and that is where our fitting experts shine.

Come in for a free fitting analysis, where we will have an actual conversation with you, watch you walk, scan your arches on the MyFootBalance® 3D machine, and make recommendations that make sense for you. Choose from our 10 running shoe brands, recovery sandals, and FootBalance® custom-molded orthotics.

In order to optimize your experience, bring/wear your favorite socks and if applicable, your current running shoes.

Run Club

Our Black Dog Pack running club is for everyone. Whether you are just beginning a fitness journey, training hard for a specific race, walking your dog, or looking for company while doing what you do, Run Club is for you!

We meet every Thursday at 6pm and most Saturdays at 7am. No registration is required. We ask that you plan to be self-sufficient with your fuel, hydration, reflective gear, and belongings, but most times the store is open before and after the run.

Special Events

Black Dog Running holds special events every month, such as themed runs, medical assessments, fundraisers, yoga, ladies’ nights, form clinics, informational sessions, and more.

We absolutely love being part of many local races as sponsors, volunteers, and participants. Often you will find us raising the finish line, setting up our mobile shop, and busting out some miles alongside you!
